![]() ![]() ![]() Being able to now use the regular attachment mechanism means the blades are easier to mount and won't slip during use. I've used Dremel blades in the past and have always had to use the alternate attachment option on my multi-tool which isn't ideal. They fit a variety of mulit-tool products: I have a Porter+Cable multi-tool and its nice to find Dremel is now offering blades that fit it. I am still overall pleased with the Dremel Multi-Max blades.ĭremel Multi-Max Universal Wood Flush Cut Oscillating Tool Blades (3-Pack) is a top quality blade. Up to the point the Dremel blade kept a good cutting edge. I don't believe it had anything to do with the 2 X 6 I was cutting - that was a one-time job, the blade broke while I was cutting pocket holes in 1/2" sheetrock. One of the spans cracked with moderate use. The only downfall is I believe that the design of the universal fit makes the tool securing point of the blade weaker. This thicker lumber is where other blades smoke but the Dremel kept up with cut after cut. It cut good straight cuts into the plunge of the lumber with little effort. The Dremel wood flush Multi-Max was the perfect blade for the job. I had a 2 X 6 I had to notch out for a fixture that was too tight for any of the other saws I commonly use. I did have a problem with the blade seating fully with my Porter Cable quick change oscillator, however, it still worked fine. The Dremel Multi-Max universal 3 blade pack was the best fit across my tool brands. I have various brands of oscillating power tools, so finding one blade that will fit all my brands is a challenge in itself, then to find a blade that can keep up with the task. ![]()
